One Year.

Today marks the first anniversary of my moving 3/4 across the country to this place by myself.



It has been an amazing year. One in which I've learned so much about life and myself. I can't wait to see what the next year has in store... Hopefully it will be a shorter winter. (It was in the 40s this week.)

You know those people that are just effortlessly cool? The ones who always pull off a look, look put put together, are always ahead of the trend. One of my friends from high school is one of those people. Good news, she works in the fashion industry and is spreading the good style.

So, I mention this because I totally just copied/was inspired by her. Saw a pic of her wearing this and she shared the wealth with wear I could get it.



Ordered in less than 5 minutes flat. I think that's a record.

Thursday.

Talk about a pretty good Thursday... Sworn in and picked up a license... Happy Hour with an old sorority sister who also picked up the same license... Ending with homemade truffle parmesan popcorn, Grey's Anatomy, and a limited edition Stone that made it all the way to Chicago! Yes fuxking please.

When I'm excited to tell my friend I got a promotion and she responds with "I thought you were engaged"...
