Title comes from the comment I have often received. "Wow! You clean up nicely." Such a back handed comment. Why does the saying persist?
Really?! Do I normally look like sh*t?
The way I rationalize it: I would rather have the power to impress, the power to "clean up nicely."
a.k.a. "Normally you look like sh#!." (the world's most backhanded compliment)
